Press release of Ende Gelände: No agreement on the site of the Ende Gelände protest camp ++ Lawsuit against police decision planned ++ Thousands on their way to coal blockades in the Rhineland

There is still no agreement between the organizers and the police on the question of the camp area. Ende Gelände had registered areas of the Rurwiesen in Huchem-Stammeln. Alternative suitable areas would be in Ellen.

For next week we are planning a protest camp with several thousand participants, demonstration trains and blockades of coal infrastructure in the Rhenish lignite mining area with a broad alliance.

At the protest camp we want to demonstrate a wide range of educational and cultural activities for an immediate coal exit and the permanent preservation of the Hambach forest – but the search for a camp site has been made difficult for weeks!
